As this campaign comes to a close, I am filled with peace and appreciation.
To every person who opened their door to me while I was canvassing, welcomed me into your neighborhood, took a few moments to talk with me, listened to our vision, shared your thoughts, or simply offered a kind word—thank you. Those personal connections are among the most meaningful parts of this journey, and I am grateful for every conversation.
To every volunteer who made calls, shared information, attended events, manned polling stations, and simply showed up when we needed you: thank you. Your time, your energy, and your belief in this campaign meant more than I can put into words.
To every donor who invested in our campaign: thank you. You believed that a grassroots campaign could make a real impact, and you helped make this journey possible. Every contribution, regardless of size, represented someone saying, “I believe in this vision.” I will always be grateful for that trust.
And to the incredible team at Ven Vamos Strategies, thank you for giving me words that stayed with me throughout this entire process: I may not be able to outraise my opponents, but I could certainly outwork them. That stayed with me.
And we did.
We built this campaign from the ground up. With less than $11,000 raised and not one mailer sent to a single home, we earned nearly 19% of the vote through hard work, door knocking, grassroots efforts, persistence, and meaningful conversations with voters.
I want to extend a special thank you to all of the Kiwanis clubs, Rotary clubs, community and neighborhood organizations, Arms Of Hope Community Inc., Supa Jamz Radio Station, and Peaceful Zion Missionary Baptist Church in West Palm Beach for welcoming me and giving me the opportunity to speak, listen, and share our platform.
Thank you as well to all of the groups, organizations, and companies that invited me to participate in candidate screenings and forums. Every opportunity to connect with our community was meaningful. I am grateful for the conversations we were able to have and the opportunity to speak about our vision for the students, teachers, and families of Palm Beach County.
And to the nearly 19% of voters who placed their trust in our vision: thank you.
Your support means so much to me.
Thank you for supporting our belief that we can create healthier learning environments and improve literacy by addressing screen time limitations in classrooms.
Thank you for supporting the importance of establishing meaningful partnerships with our local colleges and universities to help strengthen and support our teachers.
Thank you for agreeing that we must begin early to help students establish a meaningful connection between their education and their future by creating more opportunities for them to explore their talents, strengths, interests, and potential through multiple career pathway options.
Thank you for supporting our bold initiative to diversify the district’s revenue sources so that our schools are not solely dependent upon government funding.
And thank you for believing that supporting our educators and staff must extend beyond the classroom, including exploring real-life initiatives that create more attainable housing and pathways to homeownership for the people who dedicate their lives to educating and supporting our children.
These were not simply campaign ideas. They were part of a larger vision for what our public school system can become when we are willing to think boldly, work collaboratively, and pursue meaningful solutions. You believed in our commitment to Raise the Standards for All, and while the election may be over, that commitment is not.
From this time forth, may our community remain engaged. Hold our elected leaders and district leadership accountable. Attend and speak at School Board meetings. Go to your local School Advisory Council (SAC) meetings. Ask questions. Stay informed. Speak up. Find ways to regain trust, credibility, and help make our public school system stronger.
Because Raising the Standards for All was never just a campaign slogan. It is a call to action for all of us.
There may be some disappointment with the outcome, but there is NO disappointment in the effort, dedication, and heart we gave to this campaign.
To my three babies: my Babe, my Big Baby, and my Baby Baby—thank you for your patience, understanding, love, and support throughout this entire journey.
Babe, thank you for your unwavering encouragement, your hard work, for being my go-to for all things, and for keeping me in this race. I am so proud of us and of what we accomplished on our own.
To my little babies, thank you for inspiring me, cheering me on, and reminding me every day why this work matters.
Thank you, all three of you, for being love in action.
I hope I made you proud.
Now unto Him that is able to keep me from falling, and to present me faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy…being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in me will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Thank you, GOD.
In service,
Committed to raising the standard across our district,
Tiffany Bryant, PhD
