Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
There is something incredibly special about this place.
This building has stood for many years and has carried different names and purposes throughout its history. A living history and testimony to God’s faithfulness. As we work breathing new life into these rooms, I can’t help but think about all the people who came before us. Whenever we say the building is old, but we also mean:
The elders who faithfully served here.
The deacons who quietly met needs.
The grandmothers and grandfathers who knelt in prayer.
The parents who prayed over their children.
The countless prayers lifted for prodigal sons and daughters to come home.
Those prayers are felt each day as we walk through the doors.
As we prepare “The Schoolhouse” , we’re not just renovating a building, we’re stepping into a legacy of faithfulness that began long before us. Our prayer is that this place will continue to be one where lives are changed, children are discipled, families are encouraged, and the next generation grows in wisdom, truth, and the grace of Jesus Christ.
To every volunteer who has shown up, whether for an entire day or just an hour, thank you. Every paintbrush, every wall removed, every piece of furniture carried, every load of trash hauled away and serving wherever the work is needed - helping make this vision a reality.
The Grove at Graceway is full of GRACE and overflowing with gratitude. We would not be where we are today without every single person who has shown up with willing hands and joyful hearts. Thank you Pastor Chris Young and Tammy Young and all those at Graceway Community Church for taking a chance by saying yes to us!
God has been faithful through every season of this building, and we can’t wait to see what He has planned next.
Open House end of July …. ❤️ Come see us. See what the Lord is doing.
