Inspired by overabundance of Fresh Kale in the garden and beginner harvest of young potatoes, I found this New recipe.
Portuguese soup Caldo Verde .

Added some vegan sausage and yogurt on top.
Special delicacy is mustard flowers that taste just like mustard but milder and more sweet - very tender and looks beautiful sprinkled on top.
Delicious πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜€

Everybody is screaming β€œstock market crashing” 😭
β€œCrypto is down” 🀯
β€œHousing market is plummeting β€œπŸ˜±
Well, sure, but nothing hits you right up your nose
When you open the door and Temperatures outside dropped from F73 to F40 πŸ₯Ά
Solution - indulging in my favorite simple comfort food.
Carrots and peas with pasta in a vegan creamy sauce πŸ˜‹πŸ₯°

Inspiration comes from a salmon sandwich I made over 8 years ago ( Facebook reminded πŸ€—)

NEW VEGAN version is surprisingly even better πŸ€πŸ€—πŸ˜€
Rye bread lightly toasted and Smeared with cashew cream,
Fried zucchini on top drizzled with liquid aminos ( no salt!) and black pepper , a drop of tobasco Scorpio sauce ( A DROP !!!)
Poblano pepper, tomato slice, red onion raw and a few cappers .
Amazing is a bit of a down statement for this sandwich πŸ˜€
Try it

Random flowers, herbs, like mint and oregano and sage make a beautiful summer bouquet.

I was selecting them from my various garden areas and created this arrangement, added large leaves of kale for more texture and wild carrot for a nice milky white color.

πŸ‘πŸ»TIP : if placed near a cracked window, they bring a nice aroma into the house of fresh garden herbs, as the air passes through

Morning starts with a walk in the garden to pickup some fresh blackberries - they are here for part of July and August .
Perfect breakfast !
Fresh from the vine, the6 can’t compare to those in a grocery store or even farmers market.

Today’s harvest - broccolini β˜€οΈπŸŒˆ
Organic and grown with my own compost.
The best part - these plants are last year’s sprouts, so
I didn’t plant them this year, they just showed up as a nice surprise πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€
Love Mother Nature πŸŒˆβ˜€οΈ

Flowers for breakfast anyone !πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚

These are young broccolini shoots that my broccoli plants are producing every day, so all I have to do is step into the garden and snip as many as I want .

They are super sweet, tender and crunchy
And loaded with nutrients like Lutein for eyes and calcium
And all that other good stuff to support healthy body πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ˜€βœŒοΈ

They do come back every year, if you know how to maintain them, so I did very minimal work on my part - mostly Mother Nature πŸ’—πŸŒˆβ˜€οΈ
