This morning, our certificated team gathered at Lake Stevens High School for our annual Welcome Breakfast—picking up their new staff shirts, connecting with colleagues and getting energized for the 2026–27 school year! 🔆

Thank you to our Nutrition Services Team for preparing and serving a delicious breakfast, and to our Lake Stevens High School staff for the warm welcome and hospitality in their building. ☕

Superintendent Dr. Mary Templeton and district leaders shared their vision for the year ahead: strong support systems for teachers; innovative approaches to learning; and safe, inclusive classrooms where each student thrives.

Lake Stevens Robotics Summer Camp 🤖 Who spends the last days of summer in a classroom? Nearly 60 awesome Lake Stevens students!

Incoming eighth- and 12th-graders kicked off the new robotics season at Lake Stevens Robotics Summer Camp at Cavelero Mid High, spending their summer days building, designing, coding, problem-solving, creating, and figuring out how to make things work... and then making them work better!

And the energy was AMAZING! Our four robotics coaches are SO excited about this group. The creativity, teamwork, curiosity, and willingness to jump in and try something new were on full display.

And, our robotics alumni came back to help! Former students returned to mentor, share their experience, troubleshoot with teams, and give back to the program that helped them grow.

That’s what Lake Stevens Robotics is all about: students learning from students, coaches supporting students, and a community building the next generation of problem-solvers. We can't wait to see what they build! 🤖🔥

In Lake Stevens School District, great teaching doesn't happen by accident. It's built on collaboration and a deep commitment to every student.

This week, principals and teacher leaders from every school in the district came together at Lake Stevens High School as Guiding Coalition teams for a full day of planning and collaboration. Teams dug into data, aligned their work with state standards, and made plans to support strong, consistent instruction and student learning across our schools.

Behind every great classroom is a team of educators making sure our schools keep moving forward together! 💫

We loved connecting with our military families at the Constitution Park Back-to-School event! 🇺🇸⚓

School leaders from Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School and North Lake Middle School were there to represent our district, welcome families and help get everyone ready for a great school year.

Constitution Park is home to many of our local Navy families, and we are so grateful to have them as part of our schools and community. Thank you for choosing to share your children with us—we’re honored to learn, grow and build community together.
