We welcomed back our Hawk staff for the new school year! The building was full of planning, prepping, and getting ready for students- a few reminders: skyward announces teacher placements on Friday afternoon, Kinder teachers will send their connection emails on Thursday (likely), Welcome Back Night is Tuesday 4:30-5:30pm: A-L 4:30-5 and M-Z 5-5:30. The first day of school is on Wednesday for 1st-5th graders. We can’t wait to see you!

Ready for Kinder update: our littlest hawks are ready to take on a new year. Kinder starts Tuesday, September 8th. If you haven’t registered, be sure to stop by the office tomorrow!

Ready for Kinder started today!!! Our kinder students did a fabulous job. Do you have a student starting kindergarten but haven’t registered yet? Come to the office to get your packet tomorrow! 9-12 and 1-3pm

Families should have gotten our welcome back email tonight and kinder families should have gotten a specific email about Ready for Kinder. We are getting excited to welcome everyone back!
The parent night is this Thursday 8/13 at 5pm

This spring at Hillcrest many 1st and 2nd graders got to participate in Paws & Pages by reading with Luna the dog in the library. What a fun way to practice reading!
