It's been ages since I have posted anything on my page. Life has moved along with many twists and turns. I will be updating my page in the next few months. I am thrilled to say that I am LOVING my new position as the drama teacher and advisor for Everett High School. I was headed down the elementary school path and this literally popped out at me from the blue. My heart is beyond happy to be back in the saddle doing what I do best: Teaching the arts. Happy. Happy. Happy! For those who love to take classes from me during the school year I am so sorry that I am absent, but I will return to my camps in the summer. As I tackle this first year in my new position I am unbelievably busy establishing new connections, curriculum, and relationships with amazing students and staff. In just a few short weeks my high school directing debut will come to fruition. Exciting!!!!!!!

Through it all I have missed my dancers so very much! I am thrilled to be back this summer at two locations offering wonderful dance, theatre, and visual art camps; Highland Elementary (Lake Stevens Community Education) and Creative Dance Center (Shoreline). Listed below are the locations/information/and availability! Cheers to all!!!!!!

Healthy Support for our moving bodies! Here are daily tips!

Some foods and herbs can be added to your meals daily and/or to exercise routine, which will naturally support your body’s function and health for your exercise routine. Inflammation is a natural side effect of exercise, but too much can create aches, pains and damage (e.g., arthritis). Try one or more things and see what works best for you ~ we are all different! Always check with your doctor and/or pharmacist before taking new things.

There are 10 herbs/foods I will post about in the next few days...
The first one today is Cherries....

Cherry Juice – drinking a minimum of 2 tbsp/day (& up to 3 cups/day) on a regular basis can reduce post-exercise muscle soreness. It also reduces inflammation better than aspirin without the side effects, such as gastro-intestinal bleeding.
