Congratulations to Dillon and to Black Orchid Barbers!

"History made. License earned. 💈

Dillon Moore has officially completed the Black Orchid Barbers Apprenticeship Program, passed his state board exams and earned his barber license, making him the very first licensed barber to complete our program from start to finish.

Dillon put in the hours, trusted the process and worked incredibly hard for this moment. We couldn’t be prouder of the barber he has become, or the determination it took to get here.

This milestone reaches beyond Black Orchid Barbers. After Indiana opened a new path to barber licensing through apprenticeship, Black Orchid Barbers became the first barbershop in the state approved to offer it. Dillon is now the first proof of what that path can make possible.

He may be the first, but he won’t be the last.

Congratulations, Dillon. You earned every bit of this. Welcome to the other side of the chair. 🖤 "
