It feels like the Spring Recital was just a few weeks ago! So excited for the fall and back to normal schedule. Summer was wonderful. We got to attend a few weddings, welcomed Hadlee, my newest grand daughter, had a wonderful vacation in California celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and I've been harvesting like crazy in my garden. Love it! The only sad thing was losing our dear cat, Percy. He was hit by a car. This is the last picture I took of him with the twins. We miss him!

It's so fun to see Alistair's creations while he waits for his sister to finish her piano lesson. He's so creative! ....and an amazing musician after only a few weeks of lessons. 😃 He decided to play both parts of a duet by himself for the recital this Friday!

Christmas recital last night. What a wonderful evening! We had one student on Zoom, one recorded, and most everyone else was able to make it. They all did so well! Can't wait to see their improvement in the Spring.

On another note, I have such generous parents. Below is a picture of all the wonderful gifts I received for Christmas. Thank you so much! I am blessed beyond words.

Kandice has been teaching my 6 year old daughter, Ruby since she was 3. The fruit of her patient consistent instruction of Ruby was delightfully experienced this Christmas when she confidently accompanied our church’s small group on the piano while we sang Silent Night. My Mom has now added my 3 year old to the teaching time and sometimes the 2 year old participates too simply because he doesn’t want to miss out on the fun!
She has found ways to make the teaching time enjoyable and educational with stories and activities that have made my children’s passion for music come alive. She is excellent in guiding technique and tailoring the lessons to the child’s readiness. Those who follow her instructions play skillfully and I look forward to seeing how God uses the gifts she is encouraging them to develop in the years to come. About me and my studio:

Currently accepting motivated beginner, intermediate, or advanced students. I teach music improv, worship music and chord charts, classical, and pop music. I can prepare you to play in orchestra or a band.

I have been a piano teacher for 18 years. My training started at age 5 and I attended the Masters College, CA and Shoreline Community college and studied Piano Pedagogy there.

I am a worship Leader at at Restoration Road Church in Snohomish, WA. I taught music and led a Childrens Choir for 9 years at Providence Classical Christian School.

I am married to a great guy named Aaron who is a violinist and plays with Everett Philharmonic Orchestra. We have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. All our children play music- Percussion, Bass, guitar, Keyboards and play on bands with us at our church. .I love to watch football, hiking, playing volleyball, and gardening
