I have been active in the field of training and education development for over 20 years. My primary focus was teaching mathematics to students with learning disabilities after I discovered a way to overcome my own learning disabilities in the classroom. I have also taught English as a second language to adults, and mentored other educators. In 2003, I was part of the pilot program that introduced
inclusion for all students in the classroom and shortly after that I conducted an active research during my Master’s program on how technology can be of assistance in the classroom at Florida International University. For years after that I worked at various schools implementing technology and operating classrooms that had utilized a combination of technology and techniques called "The Classroom of Tomorrow." I have discovered the tools of Access in 2015 after reading a book my friend had gifted me from Dr. Dain Heer called "Being You Changing The World." I became intrigued and began using the tools in my classroom with hopes to help with classroom management at a failing Title 1 school here in South Florida. To my surprise, the Access Tools helped shift the classroom environment and empowered the students in ways I could have ever imagined. After 2 months, it began to dissipate the learned helplessness and bullying that existed within that environment. The test scores that came back were astounding and even higher then the rest of the state averages with students operating on the same learning level. Amazed at the changes that were produced in that classroom, I have since become inspired and left teaching in public schools and have dedicated my life to educate and empower others so that they can live a life that is full of choice, possibilities, and ease. I would love to share these techniques and tools with you as well and show you how the tools can create a life that can be magical and inspiring. How does it get any better than that?
