Talk about graduating with a bang! 🎓🎶 Not many kids his age can say they've been nationally recognized for their original piano compositions. Pehr Piket's original piece, Stormy Night, completely blew us away!

Proof that when you give kids the right foundational tools, their creativity knows no bounds! ❤️🤍💙

I am incredibly proud of my recent graduate, Pehr Piket! 🎶 He just received a national Honorable Mention in the Let's Play Music Student Composition Contest for his brilliant original piece, Stormy Night.

Watching these young musicians grow from exploring basic rhythms to composing their very own masterpieces is absolute magic. Join me in giving Pehr a huge round of applause in the comments! 👏🏆

If all I do is help my students to grow a love for music and their instrument, my job has been a success!
A small percentage of my students may go on to study music in college or use music in their careers. My goal is that ALL of them experience the joy of playing and singing with their families at home, or in a congregation at their church, or with their friends in the community, and that their love and appreciation for music blesses their lives and makes them a better human.
Thanks to this sweet student for a letter that touched my heart. ❤️
