Tryouts for the 2026–2027 season is quickly approaching and they take place before school starts!

If you plan on trying out, make sure you’ve completed the 26/27 Athletic Clearance and have been fully cleared before the first day of tryouts. 🐉 🏐

Marely Tamayo, a Lake Placid Green Dragon, was named to the Best of Highlands County All-County Volleyball Team as libero. A special section will be published June 24 sharing the names of all student athletes named as a one of the Highlands News-Sun's Best of Highlands High School Sports All-County athletes.
