This year’s Red Rocks trip felt a little cursed from the start—logistics that kept shifting, a last-minute change from November to March, and even getting pulled off our plane because of a hydraulic issue. But through it all, we stuck with it…and it turned into something truly special.
The climbing is always incredible. The weather usually delivers. But what made this trip stand out were the connections.
We had the chance to deepen our Northwood roots—sharing an amazing evening with the Murch family, who generously welcomed us into their home, and spending part of the trip with Joe Slagel, whose presence added so much to the experience alongside his son Jacob.
At the end of it all, it’s these moments that matter most. The challenges, the laughter, the community. Memories were made, and we’re already looking forward to building even stronger connections with our Northwood families in the future. A final shout out to .media.works who is always behind the lens, capturing these incredible moments.
