Another example of whatā€™s possible with 3D printing.

A local builder provided us with these trim designs, and we brought them to life as lightweight 3D-printed samples that can be mounted directly on the wall and displayed in their design center.

Itā€™s a simple idea, but a great example of how 3D printing can turn existing designs into physical, presentation-ready pieces quickly and efficiently.

Sometimes the best design details arenā€™t planned.

We printed this geometric vase overnight using Vase Modeā€”a special 3D printing technique that creates a single continuous wall, making the print incredibly lightweight while using very little material.

Because the walls are so thin, a few unexpected print anomalies showed up. But instead of taking away from the piece, they actually added character and gave it a unique, almost handcrafted look.

Itā€™s a great reminder that in design, manufacturing, and even lifeā€¦ not every imperfection is a flaw. Sometimes itā€™s what makes the final piece more interesting.

From a historic French estate to a new residence on Palm Beach Island.

This scale model was created for an onsite design meeting concerning a custom architectural feature for a home currently under construction in Palm Beach.

The piece is intended to emulate an existing carved stone fish head located at the Domaine de Courances in France. Our scale model allows the architects, designers, and project team to evaluate the form, proportions, and overall character of the piece before moving into full-scale production.

Once the design is finalized, our 3D model will provide the digital foundation for carving the finished sculpture from a single block of stone.

Our client needed multiple hinged parts for travel, but the original metal versions were heavy, expensive to transport, and impractical for their application.

We redesigned and manufactured lightweight replacements using 3D printing, making them easier to carry, easier to produce, and better suited to the job.

What youā€™re looking at isnā€™t failureā€”itā€™s progress.

Every one of these parts taught me something. Some were too flexible. Some too rigid. Others solved one problem while creating another. Thatā€™s the reality of product development: you donā€™t arrive at the best solution by guessingā€”you get there by testing, refining, and repeating.

Behind every successful design are countless hours of CAD work, 3D printing, evaluation, redesign, and another round of prototypes.

People often see the finished product and assume it came together quickly. They rarely see the pile of parts that made it possible.

This is what innovation actually looks like.

Nature has always been one of the greatest engineers.

This latest design challenge pushed us to move away from straight lines and predictable geometry, and instead embrace flowing, organic forms inspired by the world around us. Every curve has a purpose, every detail is intentional, and bringing it from concept to reality has been an exciting process.

Iā€™m not revealing what this design is just yetā€¦ but youā€™ll get a glimpse of the journey in this video.
