New Life Child Development Center Will be closed Wednesday, September 28, 2022 and Thursday September 29, 2022 due to Hurricane Ian. We will reopen when Palm Beach County Schools reopen. We will contact parents if this changes

New Life Child Development Center is now accepting applications for 2-5 year olds. If you are interested in sending your child to a learning daycare experience, please call (561)891-2510 for more information. The rates are affordable and the staff is certified, professional and loving. If you live in the West Palm Beach, Riviera Beach, Lake Park, North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, or Jupiter area, give us a call. We do accept ELC students.

2 TEACHER POSITIONS OPEN

Responsibilities
• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Requirements
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as mediator between children
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
• Certification in child CPR
• 45 Hours of Classes According to Florida Guidelines
• Proof of Immunization and Physical
• Proof of Background Check

Played a little Jack In The Beanstalk Tag with the kids today. So impressed they remembered, the Giant and "Fe-Fi-Fo-Fum". I only mentioned it briefly yesterday at the end of Outdoor Time.
