Park Academy serves students grades 3-8 with dyslexia and related language-based learning differences Ms.

Park Academy is a small non-profit private school founded by Piper Park, a parent who wanted to give other students the opportunity that her son received by attending a school that addressed his dyslexic challenge. Park's dream became a reality when she opened the doors of Park Academy in September 2005.

Feeling lucky? Want to support Park Academy? There are 4 days left to purchase a Helicopter Golf Ball Drop ticket 🚁 We’ve sold 50% of our tickets, and we need your help to SELL OUT by this Friday (10/9)! Each ticket is $10, with a $500 first-place prize up for grabs.

At the Big Drop, hundreds of numbered golf balls will be released from a helicopter over the course. The ball that lands closest to the target wins! Scan the QR code on the attached flyer to purchase your tickets (we fixed the QR code, promise). And make sure to share this post with your friends and loved ones!

But wait, there's more! Every raffle ticket a student sells earns them ONE VOTE to decide what Dr. Lowery and Mr. Poage will wear for Halloween! The choices are (see pics attached to this post):

Our Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Raffle is underway, and our students are off to a great start! We’ve already sold 30% of the 1,000 available tickets—but we still have plenty of golf balls to get into that helicopter. Today, Dr. Lowery and Mr. Poage announced a little extra motivation to help us reach our goal!

Every raffle ticket a student sells earns them ONE VOTE to decide what Dr. Lowery and Mr. Poage will wear for Halloween! The choices are:

That means the more tickets our students sell, the more votes they get—and the more influence they have over Dr. Lowery and Mr. Poage's Halloween fate!
1 ticket = 1 vote

We thought it was finally time to make Franz official! 🐾💙
Franz is a regular around Park Academy, joining his human, Cliff Poage, Head of School, a couple of times each week. You might spot him taking walks with students, listening to read-alouds, or just being available for cuddles. 🥰

Franz is also part of a registered therapy team through the DoveLewis PACTT program, so he’s not just cute—he’s a professionally trained good boy!

We’re pretty lucky to have him as part of the Park Academy community. ❤️
