It’s not every day you get to tape your principal to the wall and pie him in the face! Each year, Dr. Lowery takes on fun challenges to motivate students to reach their Fun Run participation goals—and this year was over the top!

Last week our students enjoyed a special visit from Georgina Haynes, Director of Character Fabrication at Shadow Machine. Georgina shared her journey as a dyslexic creative and spoke with students about how her learning difference has shaped and supported her career in the arts.
Students experienced a behind-the-scenes look at her work, met a few puppets in person, and took part in a lively Q&A.
A big thank you to Georgina for inspiring our community and offering students a closer look at storytelling, creativity, and different ways of thinking.
