Look at those capable little hands! 👋✨
In early childhood, building self-help skills like washing hands, putting on shoes, and opening snacks is about so much more than just getting the job done—it’s about building confidence and independence.
As parents and educators, our first instinct is often to jump in and help when a task gets difficult. But it is perfectly okay to step back and let them experience a little bit of frustration! That "productive struggle" is actually a beautiful part of the learning process. It teaches resilience, patience, and problem-solving. Plus, it makes that proud “I did it myself!” moment so much sweeter. 💛
