🌱 Our property is thoughtfully Foodscaped. So, we may provide for our own family; and, there are opportunities for bountitiful sharing with friends, neighbors, delivery drivers, tow-truck drivers (true story), mailmen, wildlife, and (most heartwarmingly) all of the many wee children who adventure, toddle, stroll, and scoot on over, filled with their curious wondering…”What is ripe at the Darling Farmette, today?” 🥰

🥗 We grew organic non-gmo golden zucchini from seed this year. We experimented with creating a healthier version of one of my children’s favorite (guilty pleasure) snacks…salt-and-vinegar chips!
🥑 We sliced them thinly, tossed them in coconut aminos, our favorite vinegar, avocado oil, nutritional yeast, and cracked black pepper.
🌱 Then, we placed them in the dehydrator at 115 degrees for about 24 hours, with the intention of retaining as many nutrients as possible while crisping them up.
💥 Shazam! They are delicious! I am surprised any of them survived all of my pausing the dehydration process in order to “test” their readiness.
🤣
