The River Grove PTO is a volunteer-run nonprofit that helps fund the programs and experiences that make our school special.
We’re asking families to contribute a $75 Student Enrichment Fee to support:
📚 Field Trips
🎨 Art Literacy & STEM Programs
👕 Yearbooks & School T-Shirts
📝 Teacher Grants & Classroom Supplies
🎉 Family Events & School Assemblies

Contributing now helps the PTO plan and fund student experiences throughout the year, allowing many activities and events to remain free or low-cost for families while reducing the need for additional fundraising requests.
Every dollar directly supports River Grove students.

we were so looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow, but with the extreme heat and poor air quality, we’re going to play it safe and postpone our pk/k play date. we’ll still see many of you at our august 29 play date from 10–11 a.m., and we’ll be announcing an additional makeup date soon so everyone has another opportunity to get together! please help us spread the word 🤍

River Grove families — our Spring Carnival is almost here, and we need YOUR help to make the magic happen! 🎪✨

This is one of our biggest (and most fun!) events of the year with a DJ, tons of treats, games, prizes, bounce houses, and so much more… but events like this truly cannot happen without volunteers.

We have volunteer opportunities for adults, 5th graders, and teens, plus several shorter shifts if you can only help for part of the evening. Even one small shift makes a huge difference!

If you’re planning to volunteer, please sign up sooner rather than later so we can make sure all of our stations are covered and ready for an amazing night.

Thank you for always showing up for our school community. We can’t wait to celebrate one of the final big events of the year together 💛

End-of-year energy is in full swing and we are here for it! 💐

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8) and we’re celebrating our amazing staff who help our students learn, grow, and bloom every single day 💛🍎

Our Teacher & Staff Support Committee has something special planned each day to celebrate and spoil our incredible team and here’s one fun way students can get involved too!

Dress-up days all week long:

⭐ Monday: May the 4th Be With You (Star Wars Day)
👩‍🏫 Tuesday: Dress like your favorite teacher or staff member
🌸 Wednesday: Garden / Floral / Farm vibes
🌈 Thursday: Colors of the Rainbow
🦝 Friday: River Grove Spirit Day

Let’s show our teachers and staff just how loved they are. Have fun, get creative, and join in all week!

River Grove families, there is still time to get involved and help make next year amazing ✨

We are continuing to accept nominations and volunteers for the 2026 to 2027 PTO Board. Whether you have a specific role in mind or just want to get more involved, there is a place for you. Co-chairs are always welcome 🙌

Sign up by April 28 at 7:00 PM. We will meet that evening in person at the RG library and online to walk through roles and vote.

If you cannot attend but still want to help, reach out to Mikal or Corey ahead of time. We would love to have you involved.

Not sure what role fits? Add your name anyway and come on April 28. We will help you find the right spot 💛
