The LO Theatre Boosters are looking forward to the new school year and have already organized their first fundraiser! We have secured an opportunity to work the wine and beer tents at the Michigan Renaissance Festival on Saturday, September 26th, and Sunday, September 27th. The Troupe will receive money for each person/length of time we have working a shift; shifts are available as a full day (8am to 7pm), morning (8am to 2pm), or evening (1pm to 7pm). A few key pieces of information if you are interested in signing up:
-Volunteers MUST be at least 18+!
-Costumes are required, but they don't need to be fancy! Our Booster President, Christina McDevitt, has offered Ren Fest-appropriate costumes for anyone who would need them.

Volunteers will also receive free tickets for a DIFFERENT weekend to the Ren Fest! If you are interested in volunteering, please go to the linked Sign Up Genius below. The more help we receive, the more money goes straight into our program and our kids!

It's a Theatrical week!

Tuesday, May 26th after school: Strike for all participants of Ice Cream Debacle (LOHS Auditorium)

Wednesday, May 27th at 5pm: Troupe Banquet and Induction (Boulder Pointe Golf Club, 1 Champions Cir, Oxford - must have pre-purchased tickets)

Thursday, May 28th at 7pm: Rescheduled Monthly Theatre Boosters meeting and Chair Elections (LOHS, Room D352)

Friday, May 29th: Auditions for the Summer production of Pride and Prejudice! (LOHS - see flyer info)

Friday, May 22nd was also the Senior Showcase, which is a collection of performances and presentations from our graduating seniors.
We are so proud of all they have contributed and accomplished throughout their time with the Lake Orion High School Thespian Troupe and wish them all the best as they begin the "next act" in their lives!

Add some FUN to your Friday evening by joining the Lake Orion High School Theatrical Troupe TONIGHT at 6:30 as they present their Senior Showcase and Student-Directed One Act!

This is the final performance of the 2025-25 season and is FREE to attend. The student-directed one act, written by Caitlin W., is titled Ice Cream Debacle. It is a wonderful, family friendly show that follows a group of cousins as they investigate who stained their grandpa's favorite chair.

After a 15-minute intermission, there will be a collection of performances and presentations from our seniors. The night as a whole should run between one and a half to two hours. It's a lovely send off to our seniors and celebration of our students' hard work!

We're looking forward to seeing you!

Not quite ready to say goodbye to the 2025-26 Lake Orion High School Theatrical Troupe? Looking for one last performance to tide you over until our 2026-27 Season begins?
