We had a very special visit from the Lake Orion Fire Department! ❤️ Our little learners got to learn all about fire safety, discover why it’s so important to stay safe, and take a closer look at a real fire truck! 🚒👨‍🚒

🌟 Wonder of Learning™! 🌟

Questions open the door to endless possibilities! 💭✨ This week, we’re exploring “How Do I Feel?” and discovering all the different emotions we can experience.

We love how Wonder of Learning™ encourages children to think, ask questions, explore, and discover in their own unique way! 💕 Our classrooms had so much fun talking about different feelings, learning what they mean, and discovering ways to express how we feel.

Learning about emotions helps children build confidence, empathy, and understanding—one question and one discovery at a time! 🌈😊

What a fun way to celebrate the end of the week—with a special visit from the Rochester Librarian! 💕📖
Today we had so much fun learning all about worms and birds! 🪱🐦 We enjoyed reading some fun books, singing songs, and learning new things together. There’s nothing better than ending the week with a little learning, lots of smiles, and a special visitor! 🥰✨

🔬🧪 Science + Math = SO MUCH FUN! 🐻🫧

What better way to learn about science and math than by getting hands-on and testing it out ourselves?! Today, our preschoolers combined counting and science with a fun bubble experiment! 🎉
The children counted bears as they tossed them into a slime bubble to see how many bears it would take to pop it! 🐻➕🫧 How many do you think it took? 🤔

Learning is always more exciting when we can see it, touch it, test it, and discover it with our own hands! 💡❤️

New classrooms, new friends, new routines, and SO many new adventures! 💕 We are off to a wonderful start and couldn’t be more excited for all the learning, growing, laughter, and memories that are ahead. 🥰

☀️🐢 SUMMER 2026! 🌈✨

What a summer it has been! 💛 We made SO many wonderful memories, learned new things, tried new experiences, and had more fun than we could count! 🥰
From 🤖 learning about robots and discovering how they work, to 🍓 raspberry picking, 💦 splash pad adventures, 🎬 movie theater, and so many other exciting activities—our summer was filled with learning, exploring, creating, and growing! 🌱📚
Every adventure gave us a chance to build new skills, make new friends, practice our independence, and create memories that we will cherish. 💕
While we are sad to say goodbye to summer, we are SO excited for a wonderful 2026–2027 School Year! 🍎📚

Thank you to all of our amazing campers, families, and teachers for making this summer so special! 💛

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
