Blanche Sims is bringing back the beloved Birthday Book Club this year! Families can use the Pay School link at any time this year (closes in mid May) or you can send cash to school with the form that will be available outside of the media center at Meet and Greet. Lake Orion Community Schools wants to make sure all eligible Kindergarten students in our community are enrolled for the fall of 2026. Anyone have plans on Saturday? Great event to kick off summer!

We’re thrilled to once again kick off our Summer Reading Program with a special celebration. This year’s event is extra exciting as we honor the library’s 100th anniversary with a festive, birthday party–themed gathering. Guests of all ages can enjoy a fun-filled afternoon featuring bounce houses, yummy treats, live entertainers, crafts, and a variety of engaging activities. Join us on Saturday, June 13, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a memorable community celebration you won’t want to miss!
