MKMS 6th Graders Moving up to 7th Grade (2026-2027)

The Florida Department of Health requires all students entering 7th grade to have the TDAP immunization submitted on Immunization Form 680
(or Form 681-religious waiver) before the first day of school, 8/10/26.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SUBMISSION DEADLINE:
Monday, August 10, 2026
Students without a completed Form 680 on file by this date will be pulled from class, and all subsequent absences will be unexcused.

If your child has already received the TDAP shot, or as soon as they get it, please submit proof of TDAP on a Form 680.
(If you already have an appointment scheduled, you can disregard this notice).

STEAM Day Field Trip
7th grade students had an amazing time visiting Seminole State College to learn more about STEAM opportunities and careers! Throughout the day, they explored hands on activities and gained valuable insight into the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

This looks fun while supporting the music program for future Mustangs.

Biomechatronics Capstone Project Presentation
Our students had the incredible opportunity to present their culminating project today to stakeholders, community members, and even our Superintendent, Serita Beamon! This amazing group of students took their idea all the way to Houston and have worked tirelessly throughout the year to develop an innovative new medical product. We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and dedication, and we cannot wait to see all they accomplish in the future!
