Good morning HCA Families!

We just wanted to send a reminder that HCA will be closed on Monday, October 12th. We wish you all a fun long weekend.

We also wanted to share a photo of the new desks for the First Grade classroom. Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts as we continue to transform our first grade room into a big kid classroom.

Proceeds received from the fundraising events this fall will go towards this purchase of big kid desks.

🪱🔎 Worm Investigation! 🔎🪱

Our first graders became scientists today! We took our learning about living and nonliving things outside the classroom with a hands-on worm investigation. Students observed real worms, looked closely at their characteristics, and used what they’ve learned to find evidence that worms are living things.

There were lots of curious faces, careful observations, and plenty of excitement! 🪱💚 We love when science gets a little messy! 🔬✨
