What does science look like in our learning community? 🔬
Over the past two days, our learners explored oxidation with apples! We compared apple slices exposed to air, oil, lemon water, vinegar, and water to investigate what happens after an apple is cut.
Big science word, familiar experience: oxidation is the reaction that causes a cut apple to turn brown when exposed to oxygen.
Our Discovery Studio makes room for curiosity, close observation, and questions like, “What changed?” and “What do you notice?”
