Crystal Lake Elementary

🇺🇸 What an incredible day in Washington, D.C.! Our Safety Patrol students explored some of our nation's most historic and inspiring landmarks, including the Washington National Cathedral, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, World War II Memorial, Ulysses S. Grant Memorial, Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima), Arlington National Cemetery, and the Washington Monument.

From learning about our nation's history to honoring the service and sacrifice of so many Americans, the day was filled with meaningful experiences and unforgettable memories. We are proud of how our Safety Patrol representatives continue to learn, lead, and represent our school so well throughout this amazing trip!

A HUGE congratulations to our Kindergarten, 2nd & 5th grade Crocs for “putting their Game On & aiming SUPER HIGH & achieving EVEN HIGHER levels” for their FAST/STAR Progress Monitoring #3! They had a pretty cool Picnic Lunch with friends today! Way to go to all these Crocs 🥳🩷🥰🐊!

Mrs. Hinton & Mrs. Rice’s classes celebrated all of their hard work with ice cream sundaes 🍨🥰🩷🥳🐊! Hard work definitely pays off! Congratulations to them!

Students in Mrs. Pombeiro’s 3rd grade classes met with the strict “Judge Judy” today again! They all had to write an argumentative paragraph to say whether they believed that students should or shouldn’t be required to do community service at Crystal Lake Elementary. They presented their cases & had to deliberate to see who had the best evidence and points. Now this looks like so much fun! Wonder what the final verdict was? 🥰🩷🥳🐊
