HLCS Facebook Comment Policy --
Rules of Use HLCS welcomes the community's contributions to its page through the use of comments. Community-contributed comments on the page are understood to be solely the opinion of the author and do not represent the HLCS. HLCS abides by Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and Community Standards, and asks its Facebook Fans to do the sam

In particular, please do not "post unauthorized commercial solicitations (such as spam)"; "bully, intimidate, or harass any user"; "post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence"; or "do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory" on any HLCS page. HLCS reserves the right, but is not obligated, to remove comments that contain commercial solicitations; are factually erroneous/libelous; are wildly off-topic; that cannot be translated into English by Google Translate or other free online translation software; or that otherwise violate Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and Community Standards including comments that fall into the categories in the preceding paragraph. HLCS believes strongly in the importance of including all segments of the community in dialogue surrounding important school issues, and our page is one effort to do so. We thank you in advance for your contributions to our page. In order to accomplish this goal, please abide by the following guidelines: Be respectful. Personal attacks or derogatory comments aimed at specific individuals, employees or students are not permitted. Don't make comments that goad others or pick fights. Nobody likes a bully. Be polite. Avoid language that is abusive or inappropriate, including remarks that are racist, sexist, sexually explicit or obscene. Profanity is not allowed. Be relevant. Let's keep the conversation related to the topic at hand. Do not post comments that advertise or promote a product or service. Spam and commercial advertisements will be deleted. In addition, do not use the HLCS page in place of standard communication practices, such as contacting your school principal to share personal issues and concerns. Be factual. Blatantly inaccurate, libelous or false information will be removed. Please note that all comment postings are at the discretion of the page administrator. Please be certain that your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and for fans of all ages. The page administrator reserves the right to remove comments, not to limit criticism, but to protect the privacy and rights of staff and students.
