👯Twin Tuesday at LLHES Summer Program!

Today we celebrated Twin Tuesday with lots of matching outfits, big smiles, and lots of fun! A fun way to celebrate new and old friendships. Everyone enjoyed showing off their ‘twin’ spirit! 💙💛

🎵 Welcome Our New Elementary Music Teacher! 🎵

Please join us in welcoming Ms. Diane Augustyn to the Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools family!

Diane is a proud Upper Peninsula native from Trenary and a 2025 graduate of Central Michigan University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. After graduation, she had the unique opportunity to study French Horn performance and the German language abroad in Germany before returning home to begin her teaching career.

This past school year, Diane taught PreK-12 Music and Band in Mackinaw City, where she gained valuable experience working with students of all ages. She is excited to bring that experience, along with her enthusiasm for music and learning, to our K-5 students this fall.

When she’s not teaching, Diane enjoys everything the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Whether she’s hiking scenic trails, running along the shoreline, or skiing through the woods during the winter, she loves spending time outdoors. She is also looking forward to exploring everything the Keweenaw has to offer and getting to know the Lake Linden-Hubbell community.

Please help us give Ms. Augustyn a warm LL-H welcome! We are excited to have her join our school family and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make in our elementary music program.

LL-H Elementary Summer Program will be cancelled tomorrow (7/16).

Due to the unhealthy air quality and in the interest of ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff, our classroom will be closed on Thursday, July 16th. See you next week!
