Mountain Rise Daycare is located in Lake Katrine just north of Kingston, NY. Easily accessible from Kingston and Saugerties, Mountain Rise has cared for children from as far away as Phoenicia, NY. The facility is a fully equipped freestanding school with an attached gated playground for where children can play and safely explore the outdoors. Kaity began her eleven year career in daycare as a teac
hing assistant at Montessori at Mountain Brook Day Care where she learned the Montessori philosophy and methods. When it closed in 2016 she began Mountain Rise Daycare where she continues teaching in the Montessori tradition. Kaity’s approach to daycare goes beyond just providing play time for your child(ren). She provides a program with games and activities designed to teach both academic and social skills while still being fun and engaging for the children. Your child is unique and will be given attention that is tailored to their needs. The preschool program she provides has been reviewed and approved by the New York State Department of Education. Keeping your child safe and healthy is as important at Mountain Rise Daycare as providing a good learning environment. Kaity is fully certified in first aid, CPR, and MAT( Medical Administration Training) ; so she is well equipped to provide appropriate care for your child should the need arise. Additionally, the school participates in a healthy food program which ensures that the children are served fruit/vegetables and Whole grains as part of their daily diet. Kaity recognizes that not everyone can wait eight weeks to go back to work after having a child. With that in mind, children as young as six weeks old are accepted by the daycare, and often stay through the age of five when they leave to move on to kindergarten. Mountain Rise Daycare recognizes that when you entrust your children to our care, you trust us with the most precious thing in your life. It is our job to provide the best environment possible for them during their early development. Mountain Rise is officially open Monday through Friday from 8 AM till 5 PM however we are willing to accommodate parent's work schedule by offering an early drop off and late pick up .
