Wonderful show and tell at guild meeting yesterday.

The Plantation Quilt guild will have a booth at the LJ Farmers Market this Saturday. 9-1pm downtown . We have a lot of handmade items for sale. The quilt shown is a raffle. The guild donates to, police departments with items to comfort small children, we have recently given 15 quilts to the Women’s Center. We also donate to the Gathering Place, pregnancy help Center, Isiah 117 house, all Brazoria Couny Libraries receive a quilt for their Summer reading program to give to a lucky reader, and many others. We would appreciate your support so we can continue to give to others. Come out Saturday and see us.
Also, I will be selling some of Mothers Barbie dolls. I’ll be the one in the pink tent!

Here are some show and tell from our meeting yesterday. We had a great time.

Service Bee is this Friday at the statue. We will be sewing tote bags. Join us 🎉

Our April Auction will be April 9th, 2024, 9:30am at the Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church 102 Yaupon Lake Jackson
The public is welcome and bring friends.

Handy Tips:
1. Bring bags to carry your auction wins! Big Bags and a Bunch of them.
2. Bid sheets have a starting bid. Enter your last name and amount of your bid.
3. There is a silent auction and possibly a live auction.
4. Cash

What a fun and informative guest for us. As quilters we all have a smorgasbord of scraps and orphan blocks. Join us to learn how to be creative with them.
