Dancing friends and family. It is with a heart full of regret that I must cancel tonight, at least for myself. My pop has a medical emergency and he is my number one priority. I'm so sorry to miss it but I encourage you all to still go and have a blast. I ask that you please lift my dad up in thoughts and send healing energy. He is my most very important person.

Hey there fellow Sassy pants!!!!
We have one last field trip together before I go out for my surgery. Next Thursday, August 6 we will be joining Line Dance Bako at BarrelHouse Bakersfield - Taproom!!!!
We will also be celebrating the birthday of our sweet Tina Orr so I hope you all dust off your dancing shoes and join us for my last hoorah of the summer 😁
Carpooling is available if you need a ride so don't let that stop you. Just ask!

Hellllloooooo dancers!!!!
It's been a hectic couple of weeks for us trying to figure out scheduling, venue and instructor for my upcoming absence. With that said, we will no longer be dancing at the Eagles. However, we will still be dancing tomorrow night, at 178 Bar & Grill !!!! Thank you to Jeff Jost and Helen Jost for always being accommodating and supportive. Let's all show up for a big hoorah! This will be MY last Thursday with regular dance on the mountain until I heal from surgery. Next Thursday we have a field trip so stay tuned for the details.

Again, we dance tomorrow, Thursday July 30 at 178 Bar &Grill
6:30- 8 as usual. $7 per person.

I appreciate every one of you. The love and support the community has shown is spectacular and never fails to amaze me. You are all beautiful!!!!! Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Line Dancing at the Eagles tomorrow is on as usual, with a slight change......
As many of you know, I am going to be having knee surgery next month and am already struggling to keep up the pace. Because of that, I was being forced to face cancelling dance indefinitely. I hate to do that to my crew and newbies alike. This has become something for locals to enjoy that many look forward to. For that reason I have asked Miss Kayla Clark to step in and help keep everything going in my absence. This isn't to say I'll be M.I.A., at least not for more than a couple of weeks. But I have full confidence in her abilities and I know the group already loves her.

Please be encouraging and understand that not all instructors are the same. She has experience instructing different styles of dance so her style of leading will be different from mine. But she will get you there just the same. If not better!

This change will begin to take place with her leading tomorrow. I have to be absent and decided there is no time like the present!

We will be taking our monthly field trip to Dance in Bakersfield.

Crusaders Brewery
5880 District Blvd in Bakersfield
6:30-9 pm
$5 per person.

Some of us are carpooling. Don't let the drive stop you. Let me know if you need a ride and we will see what we can't put together. It's gonna be a blast!
