Delaware Valley Opera A non-profit regional professional opera company located in Sullivan County, NY, serving the Upper Delaware River Valley.

Our Mission is to provide opportunities for area talent to study and perform a wide range of opera repertoire; to introduce opera to young people and the general public through performances, workshops and educational programs and to foster collaborations between creative and interpretive artists and technicians. The Delaware Valley Opera is a member of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, the Arts Council for Sullivan County, NY.

Don't miss your chance to see a timeless work presented by a professional opera company right here in your own backyard. The Delaware Valley Opera celebrates it's 40th Anniversary with an imaginative 21st Century interpretation of Mozart's opera, sung in English.

The Magic Flute premiered on 30 September 1791 at Schikaneder's theatre in Vienna, just two months before Mozart's death. It was Mozart's last opera. It was an outstanding success from its first performances, and remains a staple of the opera repertory.
