It's been a while since I've posted!! I wanted to make you aware of some upcoming opportunities toward the end of the school year and into the summer.
1. Final Exam Test Prep Tutoring (High School)
I’m opening up some spots for final exam tutoring sessions. This can either be a private session or a group session. Please reach out to me if your student is needing extra help before their exam.
2. SAT/ACT Test Prep
Every summer I offer test prep for the SAT and ACT standardized tests. My colleague and I have created complete review courses for Math and English that has helped improve student scores dramatically. I find that our prices are much lower than some of the fancier test prep resources out there and we have amazing results. The summer is a great time to enroll in test prep!
3. Summer Tutoring Courses
I offer tutoring to help students prep for their future math course. I have courses for Alg1, Alg2, Geometry, Precalculus, and AP Calc. Students will review prerequisite material and preview future material.
4.    College Level Tutoring    
Lastly, I tutor college level math courses including College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus 1 and 2, and Statistics.

SEMESTER EXAM SEASON IS UPON US 🎄
I am planning to offer group tutoring sessions for any/all high school math subject levels this year to prep for final exams. They will be Saturday, December 14th. We would go through the final exam review and I’ll offer Q&A over subject matter.

Attention AP Students:

Garth Orr (EducatOrr, LLC) and myself (AA+ Tutoring, LLC) will be offering an AP Cram session on April 13th. Students will be given supplemental review materials, work through exam practice questions, and gain insight into test day.

AP Physics session led by Garth Orr. Garth has taught physics, both in the classroom and as a tutor, for 12 years. Taking a concepts-first approach, his students are better able to understand the underlying question behind the exam and apply their knowledge to find success! His work is tightly integrated with the AP exam and he can boast the largest number of passing AP exams for a comprehensive high school in all of Dallas ISD

AP Statistics session led by Ashleyanne McKinley. Ashleyanne has taught AP Statistics, both in the classroom and as a tutor, for 10 years. She has participated as a College Board AP grader for the last 4 years. She has averaged over 90% passing rate with her students (50% with a score of 5) and continues to work with colleagues to stay up to date on best exam practices.

We’ve got some new faces around here so I thought I would reintroduce myself!

Hi! I’m Ashleyanne, former math teacher and founder of AA+ Tutoring. My husband grew up in LH, we moved here 5 years ago after getting married, and we have two children (3 year old boy and 1 year old girl). I taught for 8 years in the classroom before deciding to stay home with our son, but still had a desire to teach. AA+ Tutoring was created almost 3 years ago, and I’ve had the privilege to serve so many LH families. Our business has grown so much, thanks to you all, and we now have 5 tutors on our team serving the community. Several of our tutors are also LH mamas that want to earn supplemental income. We are always looking to add to our team! We’ve got big dreams and we hope to continue expanding in the years to come.

We tutor in person or virtually. We have tutored next door neighbors as well as students across the pond! We tutor at the university level as well, which means that students can continue getting help with a familiar tutor as they enter their university level courses.
