Florida day 4

Water water water. We started with kayaking, had some pool time, went ocean snorkeling, and then ended the evening with an Everglades walk. Couple more excursions and then weā€™re on our way back to Havasu this evening.

Quote of the trip:

Macy Sautner: ā€œthese paddles are ridiculous. This would be much easier if I just got out and pushedā€.

Promptly followed by Macy hopping out of the kayak and attempting to just push / swim the kayak around the mangroves.

An absolutely jam packed day filled with beach snorkeling, invertebrate exploration and a hands-on touch tank, and dolphin swimming.

A note on dolphin pics. Dolphins Plus will send me a link for individual pictures that I will forward to everyone. I did my very best to take as many pictures as possible, however they had students split into several small groups working in different tanks. As soon as I get the link, Iā€™ll send it along.

Our first proper day of activities. We spent our time beach combing, learning about sea turtle conservation efforts at the Turtlee Hospital, feeding tarpon fish at Robbieā€™s Marina, and capped it off with a pizza and pool party.
