We are proud to welcome home LHHS Class of 2026 graduate Breck Kilpatrick, who recently graduated from U.S. Marine Corps Boot Camp and is back home participating in the Recruiter’s Assistance Program (RAP)! ❤️🤍💙

Breck’s Marine Corps job (MOS) is 1341 Engineer Equipment Mechanic. Next, he’ll head to Camp Pendleton in San Diego for Marine Combat Training (MCT), followed by specialty training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Congratulations, Breck! We are so proud of you and wish you the very best as you continue your journey with the United States Marine Corps! 🇺🇸

Zoey Huyck had the opportunity to shadow Ms. Arzate, an Elementary English Language teacher at Smoketree Elementary! 📚🍎

Our Chamber Foundation for Education and Leadership Internship kicked off its fall session with Dr. Jenna Lowder leading a workshop on interview etiquette. Students practiced their elevator pitches and prepared for their upcoming interviews at the Chamber next week.
Vijette Saari represented the CFEL Board, along with Amy Rossi from HRMC. We are grateful for this program and the opportunity it gives students to learn about the interview process, complete a 30-hour internship, and get paid!

🦷 Job Shadow Spotlight 🦷

Ameer Atassi had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Yole at Pleasant Valley Dental, where he observed a crown procedure from start to finish—including crown prep, a CEREC digital impression, crown design, milling, fabrication, and final seating. He also observed a patient exam.

Thank you to Dr. Yole and the staff at Pleasant Valley Dental for welcoming Ameer and giving him the opportunity to learn more about a career in dentistry!
