logy is deeply rooted in personal experiences combined with what we know to be true about leadership tactics and human behavior. The Genesis of Philosophy and Strategy

The Genesis of M III Leadership Enterprises' philosophy came from former Partner and Co-Founder, Ed Meagher, who experienced first hand - through his corporate tenure with PepsiCo, that even the smartest person in the room, (i.e. - the candidate with the outstanding resume and various degrees from prominent colleges and universities), didn't necessarily make them executives with whom others wanted to follow or even work with, for that matter. The goal: to hire these young executives and have them grow through the Pepsi Culture to be potential presidents of the new brands the company was acquiring. When half of these executives failed in their leadership roles, and half failed AGAIN, in a subsequent search for these “future brand presidents”, what Ed realized was that people needed to be coached on how to be effective leaders and to manage others in order to be successful. Here's why they failed:

1.) These candidates were sophisticated and gifted problem-solvers who had lived their lives as brilliant individual contributors.
2 .) These executives validated themselves on their intellectual superiority and their functional brilliance.
3 .) Most failed to comprehend that no individual team member can high perform alone. Our Solution:

COACHING - Leadership is not intuitive for most people. We aren't born with “group survival skills”. We are taught from the time we enter school - early in our development, and throughout the course of our educational careers, that we are rewarded with grades based on individual performance. Therefore , working on a team/as a team is not innate in humans. Thus, leadership must be taught, behavior must be understood, and relationships must be managed at every level.

Why M III Leadership...

Allison Meagher Paoli is the Owner and President of M III Leadership Enterprises, a company that specializes in developing high performing individuals, teams and cultures through teaching strategic relationship management practices. The M III Leadership Model is a series of values, concepts and behaviors that present a framework for how high performing teams work together effectively. Our methodology is deeply rooted in personal experience combined with what we know to be true about leadership tactics and behavioral alignment. The Genesis of Philosophy The Genesis of M III Leadership Enterprises' philosophy was derived through years of witnessing high-level and well-educated executives prove to be ineffective while leading others because what they needed and lacked the most, were interpersonal and leadership skills. There’s no use in being the smartest person in the room, if others don’t respond well or want to work with you. Our methodology is designed to combat ineffectiveness through teaching an in-depth curriculum of communication styles, human behavior, emotional intelligence and complex relationship management. This combination of tools helps to drive results.

At the core of the M III Methodology are two foundational concepts that help individuals and teams step into alignment. The first is that your impact with other’s lies in “who you can become for them”. Each person has a unique set of needs to be met in order to perform to a high level, thus, by understanding what those needs are and meeting them, we position ourselves to develop optimal relationships with team members. This practice is not altruistic; there is reciprocity and balance in this dynamic. The second, is that no matter how talented or intelligent, no single person can high perform alone. The professionals whom we are surrounded by add extraordinary value to our teams, our success and our performance. When we understand this, we become mutually accountable for each other’s success and performance, and more dedicated to one another. By implementing these two fundamental concepts, while assisting executives in developing their interpersonal skill-sets, M III Leadership has the capability to lift teams to new heights.
