There’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes to make the start of a new school year special, and we can’t wait to see those smiling faces back in the building!

Bus schedules have now been uploaded to Infinite Campus Parent Portal!

To find your student's bus information, login to your parent portal and click "MORE" in the left sidebar, then click "Transportation." From there, you can view your child's bus information, such as bus number, stop location, and pickup/drop off times. If you have any questions please contact the school office.

🎾 We spy some familiar Woods faces! 👀❤️

We love seeing so many of our former Woods students together on the courts at Badger! Once a Woods kid, always a Woods kid. 🥹

Wishing all of our Woods alumni—and the entire Badger Girls Tennis team—a fantastic season! 🎾❤️

🎾 Badger Girls Tennis is ready to roll! 🎾

The first week of Badger Girls Tennis is officially in the books, with 46 girls signed up to compete under the direction of our new head coach, Matt Nelson! We are so excited for the season ahead! ❤️

The varsity team will hit the courts Monday as they travel to Burlington for a quad. Then, next Thursday, JV and Varsity host Burlington for our first conference match of the season, which will also be Parent & Senior Night! 🎓🎾

Come out and support our Badgers as we kick off an amazing season! Let’s go, Badgers! ❤️ 🤍🎾 .

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Lindh, our new principal, to Woods School! ❤️

Mrs. Lindh is beginning her 22nd year in education, including nine years in the classroom as a 4K and Kindergarten teacher.

“I am excited to share my instructional leadership and passion for teaching and learning as I join the Woods family. I look forward to returning to my PK–8 roots!”

Outside of school, Mrs. Lindh loves spending time with her family. Her three children keep the family busy with their schedules, and summers are spent outside in the pool, playing in the yard, and getting their lambs ready for the Kenosha County Fair. 🐑☀️

And one very important thing to know about Mrs. Lindh… 🎶 While she doesn’t do much karaoke, “Sweet Caroline” is a family favorite to sing LOUDLY whenever it comes on—especially at football games or the fair. 😂🎤

We are so excited to officially welcome Mrs. Lindh to Woods and can’t wait for a wonderful school year ahead! ❤️

📚 Welcome to Woods, Mrs. Koepke! 🍎

My name is Erin Koepke, and I am excited to be joining Woods School and teaching first grade this year! ✏️ I am beginning my 14th year of teaching and have primarily taught 4-year-old kindergarten in Lake Geneva Schools and surrounding schools.

I am also a proud mom of four children, all of whom attend or have attended Woods School. ❤️ Our family is adventure-seeking and enjoys traveling and exploring the great outdoors. We enjoy hiking, camping, water sports, and finding new adventures and fun ways to spend time outside together! 🥾🏕️🌊

I am so excited for this new chapter in my teaching career and look forward to getting to know all of the first-grade students and their families. I can’t wait for a wonderful year of learning, growing, and making memories together! 🍎📚🎨

⚡ Fun Fact: I have never read or watched the Harry Potter series.

Yes, you read that correctly. Not one book. Not one movie. We have questions, Mrs. Koepke. 😂🪄

Our Back to School Pool Party has a new time! ☀️🏊‍♀️

Join us Saturday, August 29 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at the Burlington Community Aquatic Center for one last splash before we head back to school!

It’s a great chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new families, catch up and kick off another school year together!
