From the WASB press release:
New Superintendent/Principal Begins Work
Monday, July 27th was a memorable day as new Traver School Superintendent/Principal, Andrew Grimm began his first day on the job. Dr. Grimm replaces former Superintendent, Allyssa Andersen who resigned effective July 1st. Board President, Dan Kundert said the Board is thrilled that Dr. Grimm “has
experience as superintendent of a smaller school district, like Traver. I think it will be a good match for him and for us.”
Grimm worked six years as superintendent of the Winter School District, which had an enrollment of approximately 240 students. Prior to this, he served first as elementary principal and then as middle school principal in Ladysmith for a total of seven years during which he earned his Doctor of Education degree from Aurora University.
Grimm agrees, “this is a great match! I’ve had a lot of experience
leading small schools and I’m looking forward to moving Traver School ahead.” His first impressions have all been positive. “The people I have met so far have been incredible, so I am excited to be a part of this great school!”
Board Vice-President, Andy Schuerr feels that “the community deserves real stability and results, and we expect that Dr. Grimm will deliver.” Kundert agrees, “We think Dr. Grimm will be on top of things and get Traver School back on track to be the wonderful school that it is.”
