Dear Colleagues and LFHS friends,

I am writing to inform you that tomorrow will be my last working day with Lake Forest Schools. There will not be a replacement for my position of Technology Project Coordinator. I will also be stepping down as SSA president and Elizabeth Del Fava will be taking over that role. It is possible that I may apply to be a substitute teacher next school year and during my retirement and I do live in the LFHS neighborhood, so this might not be goodbye forever!

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of my colleagues for their support and collaboration over these last 25 years.

Everyone deserves to feel safe at school.

We’re a team of teachers. We’re parents. When we see yet another school shooting, it hits us to our core. We need common-sense gun control measures to help end the epidemic of gun violence in our schools. We need stronger funding for guidance counselors, mental health professionals, and school nurses.
