Want to make a difference in your school community? The District 67 APT is now accepting nominations for the 2026–2028 term for the following leadership roles:

✨ APT Executive Board Vice President
✨ APT Executive Board Treasurer
✨ APT Executive Board Communications Coordinator
✨ APT President – Sheridan School

Nominees must have prior experience serving on an APT Board or as a Room Parent.

District 67 Sets New Food Drive Record! With the power of community and compassion, we collected 12,600 pounds of food during this year’s APT led HUGS Food Drive - enough to support approximately 2,100 families in need!

👏 A huge thank you to all District 67 families, students, and volunteers - especially the amazing Deer Path Middle School students who sorted and packed donations with care.

The HUGS Food Drive is just one part of our ongoing mission through Project FULL, which provides year-round support to local families facing food insecurity.

Together, we’re proving what generosity can do.

Help us make this Thanksgiving season brighter for families in Lake County by contributing to our District 67 APT Thanksgiving Food Drive! From Monday, November 10, through Friday, November 14, bring your donations to the bins at the front entrance of your school between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm. Each grade has specific items to donate, benefiting Cool Ministries Food Pantry, North Chicago Community Partners, and Beacon Place. Together, we can help ensure everyone has a meal to share. Thank you for your generosity!

Bruce will be visiting all of our district 67 schools in person to share his stories, writing inspiration, and fun with our students!
