Milestones Academy Childcare Center Welcome to Milestones Academy Childcare Center! We are proud to announce as of 10/31/2016, we have opened a new location in Lake Forest.

Milestones is owned and directed by Fay Arami who has more than 20 years of experience in childcare and education. Miss Fay has developed a program and created an environment that is designed to ensure children reach all their developmental “milestones” in order to have a strong foundation for their social and educational futures. By creating a balance between traditional education and Montessori education, and giving children time for social interaction, Miss Fay teaches your child the tools he or she will need to thrive in a traditional or Montessori setting when they have moved on.

It’s never too early to begin a child’s journey of learning and connection. 💛 At Milestones Academy, our Infant Care Program (3–18 months) is designed to support growth during the most important months of development. Through safe, nurturing environments and gentle social experiences with other infants, little ones begin building trust, curiosity, and early communication skills.

Some places feel like a second home—and some teachers leave a lifelong impact. 🧡

This family entrusted Milestones with their son from age 2 through kindergarten, and what they witnessed was more than preparation for school—it was a love for learning. Last month, our Milestones family came together for a special Thanksgiving potluck filled with smiles, creativity, and connection. The children proudly wore their handmade turkey and pilgrim hats and enjoyed a delicious holiday meal alongside friends and teachers.

Milestones Academy will be closed on the following dates to allow our staff and families time to celebrate and rest together:

• December 25, 2025 – Christmas Day
• December 26, 2025 – Day After Christmas
• December 31, 2025 – New Year’s Eve
• January 1, 2026 – New Year’s Day

We encourage families to please refer to the Milestones Holiday Parent Letter for 2026 for a full list of next year’s scheduled closures and important dates.
