Happy Earth Day! We celebrated yesterday, taking a walk around our rec center—not just to explore, but to care for the space we share. With gloves on and bags in hand, our littles eagerly picked up litter, noticing every tiny detail along the way. What started as a simple walk turned into meaningful conversations about helping our community, respecting nature, and working together.

Through experiences like this, children learn that their actions matter. They begin to see themselves as capable, responsible citizens—even at such a young age. 🌎 🌳

Blue Class stepped into the world of Jackson Po***ck and explored what it means to paint with movement, energy, and freedom.

Instead of traditional paintbrushes, the children experimented with a variety of tools—spatulas, potato mashers, rolling balls, and even their whole bodies. As they walked around their canvases, they dripped, splattered, and layered paint, discovering how motion can leave a mark.

This experience wasn’t just about creating art—it was about expressing ideas, taking risks, and seeing how their bodies could become part of the artistic process. Each piece tells the story of movement, curiosity, and joy.

We loved watching the children embrace the freedom to create in their own unique way. 🎨

We invited the children to explore real flowers—observing their colors, textures, and tiny details up close. They arranged, sketched, painted, and created using a variety of materials, turning our table into a beautiful, living workspace.

You could hear the conversations blooming:
“Why are these petals different?”
“This one smells like sunshine!”

Moments like these remind us that learning happens best when it’s hands-on, meaningful, and rooted in wonder 💛

This week, our little gardeners each brought in flowers to help us start our very own school garden. We talked about what plants need to grow, got our hands a little dirty, and worked together to give our flowers a new home. 🌼💛

There’s something so special about watching the children take pride in caring for something they planted themselves. We can’t wait to see our garden grow—and all the learning that will blossom along with it! 🌷🌿

Red class has been busy exploring birds! 🐦 Today we experimented with a very special painting tool—real goose feathers! The children dipped the feathers into watercolor paint and discovered all the different lines, textures, and patterns they could create.

We noticed that the feathers made soft, wispy strokes that looked just like bird wings and nests. Such a fun way to combine art, science, and sensory exploration! 🎨🪶
