Hey yall! I just wanted to say hello to our CA families. Erika and I will never forget get about the great memories we’ve shared. We wanted to say hello and share our growing family with you all. This our second summer here in Georgia and these pics are from our summer vacation in Destin, Florida Always nothing but love ❤️🥋🥊

Wow what a turn of events! These last two weeks have been anything but normal to say the least. A test that’s for sure. I’ve tried to reach out to you all today to give the sudden news and updates on the dojo. I’m so sorry If you missed my call or we missed each other. I will be reaching out to the rest of you daily until I speak to each and everyone one of you personally. To give you a brief rundown a new landlord came in and raised our rent more then triple along with multiple ridiculous demands for a new lease. Unfortunately this is something that durning these trying times in CALIFORNIA and small businesses closing daily it’s something that we can’t meet in the middle with they left zero room for negotiation. I never thought in a million years I would be added to that horrible list of outcomes for California small businesses. It’s just not right and unfair but life isn’t fair sometimes. I teach my kids we must accept our situation and adapt!! After surviving the pandemic and staying afloat we are now forced to close our doors after 7 years of blood sweat and tears. Reopening in CA doesn’t make sense or doable at that! We will finishing up this month and packing our car and moving the family out of state to join my parents and sisters family in GA. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for such a fun amazing journey. Thank you for trusting me with your children and being more than clients; you all are family. It truly breaks my heart and I’m going to miss all my kids, students moms and dads. God has plan for me and my family. I know with him we will be just fine! This is far from over! I’m not finished. I’ll just accept his plan and follow his lead.

Karate will continue for the rest of the month. On the 1st I will hitting the road to start and new journey. Please I ask you continue to pray for my family and business. I love you all!

Watch out for Trubucco Hills High Soccer squad this season! They brought sensei in this year to get the boys uncomfortable. Great session boys! See ya next practice Let’s go! Martial Arts is the ultimate coach. You can cry all you want but your not quitting. That was the motto today.

God is great!
Keep us in your prayers. Erika hit 10cm quickly on Saturday but her pelvic did not alllow for baby to make her way down. Because her water had broke for some time the baby was not in a steril environment. She tried to push and push but mom caught a fever which indicated there was a infection starting. With that we were told we’re heading to the OR and to pack up. Erika ended up with a c-section and we got to meet our baby girl at 1pm on Saturday. Unfortunately baby girl was having difficulty breathing so was rushed to the NICU. She’s been there ever since. This has got the be the hardest part of this journey to see your baby connected to machines with IV and oxygen. With the grace of our lord and savior I’m excited to let you all know that god has put his hands over our team of nurses and drs and baby Ariyah. Yesterday morning the oxygen came off and in the evening she’s eating like crazy and now off the IV. With god on in control I’m happy to say we are on track to recovery baby and momma are making incredible progress. Please keep us in your prayers 🙏🏽

Today was another great day of training!

Our highest rank student Miss Amanda also competed this weekend. She has the toughest competition being she’s at the advanced level her next rank is black belt and this is only her third competition. In my eyes the second you commit to competing your a winner. She completed against todays future champions with years of experience in competition the college D1 level. We didn’t place top 3 but your determination to step out there and give it your all is why you will the best teacher and leader at the dojo and in your martial arts journey. Continue to do what you do champ and lead by example. If you know Amanda when she started with me she was the shyest member out the group. Even counting loud was rough. To see how far you have come in your journey as your sensei you are my GRAND CHAMPION! and I mean that!!! You are what WCMAC is all about! Keep up the fearless pursuit to greatness!

Another huge week for our champ Abigail. Her and Ana are in the same divisions and as a dojo I couldn’t be prouder of seeing my girls place the top 3. Abigail had some hard competition but her practice paid off!! She brought home two 3rd places at one of the largest competitions in the country!! So proud of you champ! We the best!

Our champ Ana had a great weekend of competition at one of the largest competitions in the country. She had two huge divisions with over 15+ competitors and she brought home two 1st places and qualified for the overall grand champion. Hard work pays off! Congratulations champ I’m beyond proud of you! Let’s go!!!
