Mary: A Tradition in Faith

In 1875, the Church of St. Mary began in a frame building sixty feet long and thirty feet wide. The cost for the tract of land for this church totaled only $200. Mary replaced the original frame building in 1910 with a brick structure. In 1917, the parish opened a school on the site with an enrollment of 125 students. The school increased its space with an addition in 1958. By the 1990s, the increasing population of the School of St. Mary warranted further expansion. A new Primary Grade Center opened in 1997. Mary’s parish facilities encompass six buildings and approximately twelve acres of property on two campuses. The school has a capacity of 740 students. Beginning in 1917 with the construction of the original School of St. Mary, the religious, administration, faculty, and staff have not faltered in our commitment to develop the minds and values of our children and to provide a Catholic education to those who desire it. We constantly ensure that we provide academic excellence and a religious spirit that has become St. Mary’s tradition.

The Crusader Chase fundraiser is kicking off in 2 days on Friday, September 11th! Our goal is to raise $50,000 for the Crusader Fund. We are so excited about this fundraiser because it will be fun for all of our students—they’ll all participate in the fun run and get a needed boost of school spirit, too! We're kicking off the FUNdraiser that will help us raise $50,000 for the Crusader Annual Fund with a Pep Rally at the PGC and UGC on September 18th!

PGC and UGC students will celebrate their SOSM spirit with some fun games.

Join us for our Virtual Preschool Orientation, a session for families of currently enrolled Little Angels, PreK 3, and Junior Kindergarten students. We will walk through drop-off and pick-up, classroom preview days, supplies, and more, with plenty of time set aside for your questions.
