Delta Chi - Lake Forest College Promote. Develop. Advance. Assist. At Lake Forest, Delta Chi has a long history of leadership, service, and having a great time doing it all.

Since 1890, The Delta Chi Fraternity has been dedicated to improving the lives of college men through life long brotherhood and an emphasis on Character, Friendship, Justice, and Education. This year, our Lake Forest College Chapter was recognized with 5 national awards, including Outstanding Academics, Outstanding Ritual and Ceremony, and the Certificate of Achievement, indicating that Lake Fores

t was one of the most improved chapters in the nation. On campus, Delta Chi hosts such events as "Ms. Jimmy V" and "Pie a Delta Chi" which annually raise, on average, $5,000 to be donated to our national philanthropy, The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Most recently in 2016, "Ms. Jimmy V" raised over $7,000. On top of all campus events like these, Delta Chi regularly hosts brotherhood events where alumni and active members can get together and have a good time, or do community service. While Delta Chi has a vibrant campus presence and a strong alumni network both in the area and throughout the United States, we are always seeking strong college men to add to our bond. This past weekend, our brother Noah had the privilege to attend the 64th Delta Chi International Convention in Indianapolis! It was an exciting experience representing the Lake Forest College chapter, where we received four awards for excellence in: Promoting Friendship, Developing Character, Advancing Justice, Assisting in the Acquisition of a Sound Education. Last semester, our brothers Liam Collins and Sebastian had an extraordinary study abroad experience with Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco!

“One of our favorite things to do was go ride horses in the forest with our Moroccan friends, 10 minutes from school. We also adopted a cat, kitten, and dog from the street. Sebastian brought back the kitten, Suki. My favorite memory was sand boarding in Agadir.”

Through his work as Student Government President, he’s gotten the opportunity to represent Lake Forest Delta Chi at the First Amendment Institute, joining fraternity and sorority student leaders from across the country to talk about the importance of the First Amendment on campus.
