Temescal Canyon is proud to announce Donald Hutchinson as the inaugural Head Coach of the Temescal Canyon High School Girls Lacrosse program!
Coach Hutchinson shared the following message:
Today, I’m honored to be named the first-ever Head Coach of the Temescal Canyon High School Girls Lacrosse Program. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and what it represents.
My journey hasn’t been a straight line. I’ve served as a campus supervisor, special education aide, personal trainer, youth coach, football coach, basketball coach, and now a teacher. Each role taught me something about leadership, perseverance, and the impact adults can have on young people. Those experiences shaped me into a coach who believes relationships come before results.
This year is my first at Temescal Canyon High School, where I also serve as Varsity Assistant Football Coach and Freshman Basketball Coach. I’m now honored to help build the school’s first girls lacrosse program from the ground up.
I’ve always believed coaching is about more than wins and losses. What lasts are the lessons—discipline, accountability, resilience, teamwork, and belief in oneself. That’s what I want this program to stand for.
My goal is to build a culture where every athlete feels valued, character is prioritized, and being part of something bigger than yourself becomes the standard. If we do that, the wins will follow.
To everyone who has supported me along the way, thank you. I wouldn’t be here without you.
To the future Titans and their families, I can’t wait to meet you. Let’s build something special together.
