For the past 3 months, I've been here. Loving this new baby girl. 2020 has had its ups and downs but this little lady is all ups.

Taking it slow during the holidays but excited for some announcements in the new year.

When and I were dating, I was incorrectly informed by my doctor that since I had PCOS we wouldn't be able to have biological children. Though it was devastating in its own way, it didn't matter to Jared- as long as we loved each other and as two people are right for each other parenthood could manifest in adoption, fostering, mentoring etc, he just knew he wanted to be a father. He started an account for adoption, accepted the future and enthusiastically moved forward. We got hitched and into marriage found out that feritility treatments would be successful. He was ready to love any child that would come to us and having kids with multiple differences and special needs that attitude couldn't have been more of a blessing. Today Jared is the committed-all-in-hands-on-dad every kid dreams of and cherishes these 5 little kiddos with everything he's got. He really is the best dad ever.

Just before the shut everything down I was 5 months pregant in Hawaii presenting new research findings on women and p**n use and heading home to finish working on the online WOMEN'S p**nography recovery program for . Often parents come to me and relay how difficult it is to talk to their kids about s*xuality, p**nography etc. After further discussion, what we usually find is that the adults aren't completely comfortable or aware of their own s*xuality. They find that although yes they have s*x they make children, they can talk about or get excited about s*x to some degree ... they aren't fully comfortable talking honestly and openly with their partner or even admitting to themselves their innermost thoughts and inadequacies about the subject. We live in a culture that is highly s*xualized yet it fails to address intimacy and pleasure on an individual basis that encompasses our vulnerabilities. S*x is so much more than lingerie or what we look like or an act that validates our s*xuality or union... it's a way of understanding yourself within the human experience and takes constant exploration. Get comfortable with thinking about it...thinking about desire and how that relates to you specifically. As you do, the conversations with your own kids will come just a little bit easier and with a lot less fear. Questions always welcome. Stay tuned for more on this later.

We honestly weren't sure at times if this little guy was gonna make it. In and out of the emergency room the first year of his life. We are so grateful for this little boy in perfect health turning 2 today and for the light of goodness he is to us. I dont know why so many parent face heartaches of every kind that dont always have desired outcomes or that are left with unanswered prayers... so truly cherishing this little one with full awareness of the priviledge it is to have him here and sending so much love to those who have been in a position to mourn the loss of health or loss of a little one. ♥️

On the eve of my children's birthdays while they contemplate treats and presents and celebrations ... I always take a moment to honor their births... giving birth to each of my children together with my husband has been the greatest privilege of my life. We choose to do natural, medication-free, mindful meditation (hypnobirthing) births with midwives for various personal reasons (I dont believe theres any wrong way to birth after careful consideration of options and needs for mom and baby). Its one of the most painful most peaceful and miraculous experiences to be able to partner with my husband to bring a human to this world, and we both cherish those moment dearly. I talk a lot about intimacy on this page- there are few experience more intimate than bringing the life you co created with your parter to the earth. I am grateful for our experiences and the imprints they've left on me.

This is me in the middle of a contraction about 30 minutes before delivering baby -- it is the highest level of pain I have experienced in my life but the oxytocin surge upon delivery is also the highest level of goodness, energy and love I have ever felt when holding my little one. Happy almost birthday to my youngest whose made me one privileged mama to love me the way he does... cars, trains, and mommy and I wouldnt have it any other way.

2019 has been crazy! 2020 is gonna be insane! We have EACH been clocking 50+ hours a week developing some very exciting additions to that we are going to be announcing in 2020.
