Today we hiked to the top of a large hill in the park reserve. It was hard work - there were trips and falls and plenty of chances to practice picking ourselves up and continuing on. When we made it to the top, the children were so amazed by all of the beauty that they could see and take in! Nobody minded that it wasn’t the warmest or sunniest or most colorful day. Nature has a way of doing that, doesn’t it? May you be reminded today that there is beauty in every season.

Our hiking legs have been building all year and they managed to take us all the way to a beautiful little pond so we could take in the sounds of the spring peepers! The children were so proud of themselves for making the long trek and I’d say the reward was well worth it. 🐸 ☀️ 🥾
