Lake Dallas ISD is a North Texas school district focused on providing high-level opportunities and maintaining a community atmosphere for all students. Our school district covers 9.8 square miles in Denton County with the beauty of Lewisville Lake as a backdrop. Our district has three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school and is composed of four towns: Lake Dallas, Shady Shores

, Corinth and Hickory Creek. Students have access to a broad array of programs and educational opportunities as well s a challenging curriculum. Lake Dallas ISD schools, programs, staff and students earn state and regional recognition regularly. Lake Dallas ISD is committed to being one of the nation's best school systems, constantly improving and refining both instructional programs and managerial operations in the interest of effectiveness, productivity, and economy. Our standards for students and staff members are high, and will continue to be so to play a decisive role in ensuring the future success of the dynamic community we serve. One of Shady Shores Elementary’s sweetest traditions marched through the halls today! 🧸💚

Our kindergarteners proudly carried their favorite stuffed friends during the annual Teddy Bear Parade, filling the school with smiles, excitement, and just a little extra courage for the school year ahead. Earlier this week, we proudly welcomed two new members to the Lake Dallas ISD Police Department during their official swearing-in ceremony!

Please join us in welcoming Officer Gregg Anderson, who will serve as the campus Police Officer at Lake Dallas High School, and Officer William Townsend, who will serve as the Career & Technical Education Law Enforcement Instructor, preparing the next generation of public safety professionals while also providing additional law enforcement support at Lake Dallas High School.

These roles represent more than a badge—they represent trusted mentors, educators, and protectors who are committed to building positive relationships with our students and staff every day.

Congratulations, Officer Anderson and Officer Townsend! We are excited to have you as part of the Falcon family and look forward to the impact you'll make both inside and outside the classroom.
