The Footprints Preschool & Junior Kindergarten- Lake Cities Footprints proudly serves the residents of the Lake Cities Area in North Texas! In our program, emphasis is placed on the needs of the individual child.

Footprints Preschool & Kindergarten is a Christian education ministry of Lake Cities United Methodist Church where children develop emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, spiritually and receive positive care in a loving Christian environment. Footprints Preschool & Kindergarten is a private, non-profit childcare program licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Ser

vices. Therefore, it is our purpose to provide a program in which children are given constant loving care and guidance in forming basic attitudes toward themselves, their peers, their teachers and their environment.Footprints hours of operation are M-W-F, 9-2, with an option for early drop-off and later pick-up.

💙 A WEEK COVERED IN PRAYER 💙

This past Sunday at LCUMC and again on Monday during Tears & Cheers, parents had the opportunity to receive a special prayer wristband with the name of a Footprints teacher or student on it. 🥰

The request was simple: wear it proudly and pray for that person throughout the week. 🙏

What a beautiful way to begin a new school year—surrounding our children, teachers, and families in prayer and reminding them that they are loved, supported, and covered by a community that cares deeply for them.

Every name represents a child, a teacher, a family, a story, and a prayer. 💙

We are so thankful for a church and preschool community that believes in the power of prayer and is committed to walking alongside our Footprints family—not just in the classroom, but in faith as well.

Some stories come full circle, and this is one of our favorites!

Before enrolling her daughter in our program, Jordan attended Footprints when her mom was a teacher at the school. While many things have changed over the years, Jordan says one thing that has remained the same is the feeling of safety and belonging the school offers it’s students and their families. Students are allowed to be themselves while having fun and learning in the classroom. What has changed? The curriculum. The Baird family believes what the kids are learning now is so rich, and they know Avery is going to remember the songs she has learned, the friendships she has made and teachers she has had (and will have) for many, years to come.

Generations of families continue to trust Footprints, and we couldn't be more honored to be part of their story.
