🎉 We’re celebrating literacy progress across Mississippi!

The Mississippi Department of Education has named 16 schools as 2026-27 Mississippi Emerging Science of Reading Schools, recognizing their commitment to educator learning, changing instructional practice, and building school cultures where strong readers can thrive.

We are especially proud that eight of this year’s recognized schools have educators who have participated in AIM Pathways professional learning, including all six recognized schools in DeSoto County and both recognized schools in Rankin County:
